Received several spam emails all from @mac.com email addresses today

Has anyone else in the UK received several spam emails to their iCloud account today, being sent from spoofed or hacked @mac.com email addresses?

I’ve had a few and have received about 8 in the last hour.

Anyone got any ideas as to what’s going on? I’ve scanned using Malwarebytes and I’ve not clicked on any suspicious links.

Nothing anymore than normal, most of them go straight into the junk folder.
Haven't had any .mac ones though.
Have you recently set up a domain name, that sometimes triggers junk.

I've had them too. A number of people have reported the same issue to Apple on their Twitter support account.

I have been getting a large amount of spam mails from an @Mac account and a secondary account which are all different.

I am also having this problem. Tons of spam from @Mac accounts

I’ve had a few and have received about 8 in the last hour.

Just forward the messages as an attachment to spam@icloud.com . I have found over time this reduces messages like that as Apple updates their filters.
