Haha, similar to my experience. They usually deliver really early before 1 pm, and i have been sitting waiting for it, then went to the back of the house, and came back to find it delivered at 6 pm , luckily because another person was home with me !

I haven't been cleared by customs yet, but "we" were on the same flight, so I guess they're working on that plane now. I don't think I'm going to make that 3 something flight to MEM. I need to go back and look to see when the next flight to INDY is since I get a lot of deliveries through there.
How do you lookup which flights are scheduled to leave anchorage?

ibecarly the Fed Ex guy I talked to today was under the impression that The ocean crossed from China to Alaska is the Atlantic. SO so much for what they know!
Anyone notice they have two flights going to the same location from the same departure point, 3 minutes minutes apart?!

Got my ipad 2 cover about an hour ago woohoo. Its nice. But DARN, no "processing for shipment" or "shipped" on the ipad 2. . Any news from others who ordered a 16gb white?

I ordered at 12:58 am PDT. My status still shows "Not Yet Shipped"!
I called the number on the order status screen who could not gave been nicer but had no explanation why I wasn't even moved to "Prepared to Ship". He offered to transfer to me to Customer Relations to attempt some satisfaction.
The agent was super nice, but frazzled. She offered a free cover. I have two on order. She offered a speaker dock. Not interested. Then, I got bold and said how about an Apple TV. She checked with a supervisor and added it to the order!
Still now way to expedite iPad delivery, but a $99 product was a nice gesture.
She did confirm that engraved iPads and different model configurations came from separate warehouses in China. Some may be more stocked better or faster to assemble new units than others.

I ordered a 64gb black wifi and smartcover, also got my smartcover today. No change to my order status either. Hoping to see it ship soon...

Mine has the same tracking info as yours. My order went thru at 1:04 am pst.
As long as I get it within the time frame quoted I will be happy. Of course I was disappointed that I stood in line Friday and they ran out. There were 250 people in front of me and after first 150 they were already out of the 64 gb wi-fi 3G AT&T.

Just talked to Customer Service. He said there is absolutely NO WAY for any rep to change someone's order to Priority Shipping and the ONLY thing reps see is the exact same order status page we see. They cannot tell when someone's order is about to be prepared for shipment. I am very good at getting what I want on the phone and don't let up - but I persisted and this guy seemed to honestly not know anything about these things. I call BS on these previous claims of expedited shipping.
