I'd love it if mine were on that flight. That'd make Monday delivery for sure, and tomorrow a distinct possibility!
I have to ask - do you guys even have jobs? Living in a tent on disability? I mean, NOTHING better to do than to calculate by the second where in the world your iPad might be?
I am working right now. but excited about getting it for this weekend. So i checked often today just to see where it is.

I live in skokie IL, so i doubt it be here tomorrow since it has to go thru Indianapolis & Chicago before it reach skokie..
Of course I have a job (just got off) but I don't think having a job has anything to do with our shipment. I would hope that everyone on here has a job being that the starting price on an iPad is $499.

My order was officially "acknowledged" at 4:54am on March 11. I ordered it earlier in that hour, like around 4:05-ish ET.
I received a shipping notification at 12:14am this morning (3/17) for a March 22nd delivery. Unfortunately, minutes later, the delivery date was changed to March 23rd.
I'm just hoping that I can still get a decent price for my 1st gen aside from Gazelle's offer...which isn't bad.
As I stated in another thread, had I known the wait would be 2 weeks, I may have opted to buy locally. I prefer the pre-order model where you order online and get it the same day as those who wait in line. That makes sense. This way doesn't.

As long as mine get to my local fed ex by Saturday I will be happy. I can pick up on Saturday in-case they don't deliver on Saturday.
Received mine today. However my pink smartcover that initiated and shipped from Lewisberry, PA on 3/12/11 has yet to arrive.

You may need to call apple. The fedex rep I talked too this morning said they couldn't let me pick it up since apple requires at least one delivery attempt. I think I had a similar situation with an amazon shipment and amazon took care of it.
You can just go there and pick it up? If so that is what I am going to do with mine...
I've already set it up to be held at my local fed ex via fedex.com and I've done this before because I'm never home mid-day. I always get it well before the normal time it will drop off because I pick it up.
You might want to check with your local fed ex because some don't allow Saturday pick up.

Fedex had no problem holding my iphone for pickup, surpised me I have to call apple.
Mine reads the exact same thing but only on the yahoo tracker. the FEDEX one still shows it as in transit Lantau Island. It still says tomorrow by 4:30. I have no idea where its headed on the plane and can't find a matching flight. I don't see how it makes it to CT by tomorrow at 4:30
My white 16gb wifi ordered at 5.30 EST on the 11th was just listed as prepared for shipment. At least its a step in the right direction.
Mine still says that too, but when I called fedex about a pick up and confirmation on a delivery date the woman had said it was on a plane or being loaded. She said their tracking is shoddy overseas so maybe that affected the arrival scan.
at least mine only has to go to California...but what flight is it on going to Alaska?!
