Anyone have a list of flights leaving Alaska in the next few hours and where they are headed? Im quite confused by how flightaware works.

I feel you girl. I want this sucker so I have the ability to watch something while I am taking time to work out (still getting rid of baby weight), or so I have recipes for dinner, and so I have games to play while I am nursing.

I looked up the tracking on the last Ipad that I bought, it was from china to my door in 2 days flat......

Ohhhh for the good old days.

What tracking website have you been using? When I go off of apple's trackign link it shows something different then when I use Yahoo's Fed Ex search. Is there even a better one out there?

there is a flight from kansai to memphis if somehow they got there but didnt get scanned but it doesnt look like that happened

Is this for people whose iPads have gone into some sort of limbo? Or for any of us who are just going crazy over how long it's taking?

Mine was stuck in HK, but within the past hour, it changed to being scanned in Anchorage and than released for delivery.

I have 3/18 delivery date as estimated by Fedex.

The yahoo fedex track is much more detailed! I like it.

Thanks for the confirmation, my smart cover made it from AK to MA from 11 last night to 3:30 this afternoon but I can't see the IPAD doing the same thing. Time zones and fast handling made it happen but with a promised 3/22 delivery date I am thinking a day early on Monday, but not Friday now :( I knew they might sit on that load with 3/22 promised dates, too bad cause they could have pulled it off.

I hear you but that's what both amazon and apple have told me. The day of the order does not count, and business day is not a factor in the online world.

The detailed information on Yahoo's FedEx tracking puts my iPad 2 in Ta Yuan Hsiang as of 7 hours ago. I tried finding this on Google Maps and it pointed me at Taiwan which makes sense since it travelled about 1 hour after leaving Hong Kong and then arrived at Ta Yuan Hsiang.

So no updates now for 7 hours -- hoping for something later tonight..... Really hoping for an Anchorage landing since my Smart Cover landed there yesterday afternoon around 4:30pm and was in my hand in the Western US states the next day by noon. However, it is looking like Saturday is my best shot now unless I see some state-side updates soon.

There are 3 flights that leave from Taiwan's International Airport and head to Alaska, and if I have their time zone right, all 3 of them leave within the next hour. 1 has actually already left. But yeah, I can't imagine they would show up tomorrow. Even mine, and I am on the west coast too.

It's dinner time here, so I guess I better get back to reality, and hope after dinner I have some sort of update from Fed Ex.

That is good news -- I saw your post just after i posted mine. Flights form Taiwan to Anchorage could be a really good thing. Incidentally, my Smart Cover travelled through the night after reaching Anchorage to get to me. With three incoming flights, I hope that means they will have to clear out their facility as fast as possible and push those packages forward to the next facility.
 
My iPad is stuck in Shenzhen china, its been there since 11:12am EST or 11:12pm in china. But right now it is 7:25AM March 18 in china. hopefully i will see some movement soon

Wonder how many other OCD's are "working" in this forum.

Seriously, a little perspective would go a long ways here. Anybody bothered to take a time out and text REDCROSS to 90999? Only costs you $10. Some folks in Japan would sure appreciate it.

I didn't text REDCROSS but I did make a donation on Saturday of $100 and I guess I got half of it back when apple gave me a free smart cover.
