Receiving date for MacBook Air

I got an email from Apple yesterday stating that my Air has shipped In the email, it says that I'll receive it on October 4. Based on the experiences of others, is there a possibility that I may get it sooner than that date?

Yes, I've always had mine arrive a day early, but there's no way to predict that happening.

I believe there's a distribution center for the southwest here in AZ, so that would explain it.

But cool! Get ready!

- Ordered my Air (13.3/1.8GHz/8GB/128GB) on Thurs Sept 27 (expected delivery Oct 11-15 via standard shipping)
- Shipped on Sat Sept 29 (expected delivery Oct 4)
- Arrived on Tues Oct 2
