Receiving date for MacBook Air

I got an email from Apple yesterday stating that my Air has shipped 🙂 In the email, it says that I'll receive it on October 4. Based on the experiences of others, is there a possibility that I may get it sooner than that date?

Yes, I've always had mine arrive a day early, but there's no way to predict that happening.

I believe there's a distribution center for the southwest here in AZ, so that would explain it.

But cool! Get ready!

For the record...

- Ordered my Air (13.3/1.8GHz/8GB/128GB) on Thurs Sept 27 (expected delivery Oct 11-15 via standard shipping)
- Shipped on Sat Sept 29 (expected delivery Oct 4)
- Arrived on Tues Oct 2
