receiving pictures small in SMS

Does anyone know why I receive pictures this small in SMS?

This was not like this before, don't know if it has anything to do with latest update

Can you tap on them and see them in their normal size?

Yeah but than its very blurry because of to much zoom etc.

All pictures incoming trough messages are in this small low size.

Perhaps they are being sent as small?

No thats not the case have tried this
