Nope, you may have the same contact in both favourites and recent, but I doubt you have the same contact in the same category. Unless it's a bug of course.

Delete your recent calls, and it won't show a lot of the random ones. Worked for me, anyway.

It is kinda weird how it displays. I do have 1 in favorites and that same contact is listed twice in recent. Could be due to linked contacts and now they display.

I think it's silly. They could have done notification center or control center and yet they chose the task switcher. 😕

Or vice versa -- and that's why there should be an option for it, as Apple has finally implemented.

Personally, I would have like to have seen that as an option in notifications center rather than the task switcher but that's just me.
