I have been using Hotmail for 15-20 years now. Lately when I try to log in I get the same message over and over telling me that I've tried logging in too many times with the wrong user or password. Absolutely false. I do a work around which involves having having them send a one time use code to my alternate email. It's like 2 stage verification every day. Only on my computer though. Never any issues using email on my iphone 16e. I get the sense that they are jerking me around deliberately to get me to 'upgrade' to a monthly fee account. Anyone else having issues?

Any VPN? I’ve run into behavior along those lines on a device with VPN, it seems to be interpreting it as me trying to log in from various locations in short order, triggering some security protocols.
