Recent new owners of iPhone 7

Has the hissing issue been fixed or is it still a hit or a miss? i am about to pull the trigger on an iPhone 7 or a SE and was just wondering if the older issues have been sorted out.

How do you know this? Do you have a citation or source you can provide? Because from my understanding, it still does exist. I have two colleagues who have purchased iPhone 7's, and one of the iPhone 7's was hissing when he tested the video recording. And this was within the last 30 days.

I have the new RED 128gb iPhone 7 plus, and unlike my previous two 7 pluses, this one doesn't do the noise at all where the previous two did. So maybe they did fix it.

I am very sensitive to little noises and my iPhone 7 is silent.

i have both iPhone's :- 7 (six months old) and 7 Plus (three days old)and non have that issue

I've noticed a slight difference compared to my iPhone 5, but I also switched from Verizon to T-Mobile. I'm not sure what this "hissgate" is about.

My launch day 7 Plus was issue free, and so was my AC+ replacement that I got 2 weeks ago. It has a build date of Jan. 2017.

My new week old iPhone 7 hissed only during the initial restore from backup last week. But only heard it when putting it up to the ear. Otherwise, haven't heard anything since.

Have the newer builds been able to address the issue where the phone emits hissing when under load? or when recording a video?

i can't speak for other's. But i never encountered this problem on both of my iPhone's (iPhone 7 :- 6 months old and iPhone 7 Plus bought few days ago)

Didn't you state in another thread that you purchased your iPhone 7 Plus back in beginning of April?

OP: I do know a few individuals that have purchased the iPhone 7/7+ at the end of March and still have encountered the hissing issue with recording. My 7 Plus does not hiss, week 43 was the build for mine. So perhaps something has changed between now and then.
