Just to give my own experience, i tried to make the phone lose reception at home and it simply would not lose it. It kept at 5 bars and i was covering all of it up.

I was in the mall today an tried it, now it did drop to around 2 bars.

So its my belief this seems to be something with the towers and a software fix should fix this.

Horsepuckey.....2 iphones side by side on the same couch...

Mine loses 3 to 4 bars when picked up

Wifes loses no bars and still does't even naked(the phone not wife)

Try switching the phones to the other hands and see what happens. Just curious.

LOL...side by side isn't the same location. I know this sounds ridiculous, but in my work, I found a "data stream". A place were the reflection on at this spot it lower that any other spot thus creating the highest bandwidths. Holding another phone next to it, didn't generate the values. But if the phones were switch, which ever phone that was in the slip stream of data was getting the better values.

Science. It works..........bitches. (lol not calling you one, i just like saying that)

If you have time you should video this and post it in this thread:

The OP is looking for the exact thing you are describing. Be careful to be thorough however, another person posted a similar video and quickly discovered afterwards that both their phones were indeed exhibiting the issue.
