I have .... iphone 3g... tmobile.... 3.0 firmware (I dont want to upgrade to 4.0)

I want ... to receive my email of an account ... as SMS txt msg... on my phone...

Let me explain... when i get an email on this particular account... it should come to my phone as a SMS txt msg... I have seen this in Blackberry... I cant see why iphone cant do this.

Whatever other phones can do.. Iphone can do better :)

Just set email to fetch automatically every 15 minutes.

You expect these features without any of the commitment. He's restricted because he can't get emails on the go because he's on T-Mobile and he's too cheap to get a data plan ($10/month).

But Push every 15 min... would run the battery down... hmmm now ur thinking....think along those lines.... :)

My friend who has Verizon ( blackberry ) can get her email as a txt msg... I thought why not Iphone ( tmobile ) too...

well where there is a will.... there must be a way :D
