Recieving fake email's from MacRumors/MacWorld? Please help!

    Hey, I may be wrong but MacRumor's associated with MacWorld right?

    Okay so here is my question..

    I received and email that said

    (Title:) Macworld Connect Panel: Financial Services Survey

    (Text:) Dear ,XXXXX XXXXXXXX,

    We're inviting you to participate in a new survey we are conducting regarding small businesses nationwide. The information you provide will remain confidential and will only be reported with information provided by other businesses.

    As our way of saying Thank You, those who qualify and complete the entire survey will receive $10, which will be immediately credited to your reward account. If you do not qualify to participate in the entire survey, just for trying, you will still be entered into our monthly drawing to win $100.

    Also can anyone try answering my question, is this a legit email? Will I get $10?

    It's not much of a forum. It's more of an online magazine.

    you know google would have been a lot easier and a lot less annoying for the rest of us.
