I guess it's waste of time if icloud supports the format of my videos but I'm about to Upload 50gb of video to my icloud photos library. I'm considering encoding the videos with handbrake app or similar to get m4v files in icloud and possibly save space as well. Somehow that feels cleaner but I know I could just fire and forgett to, having the files In icloud photos means I can forgett about format. Or? How did you guys reason about this?
