Recommandations on a Good Audio Systems

I'm looking for a good mini stereo system to replace my 8 yrs Sony stereo system. I'm looking at the following systems. Any tips or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I am not familiar with either of the systems you have asked about in your post. However, I have long been a fan of the Bowers & Wilkins systems.

Are you planning on using your phone or iPod to play through these? Seems to me like you could save a ton of cash and just get yourself an external speaker, or even a Bluetooth speaker.

Yes, but I also would like to listen to AM and FM Radio.

If you use any Apple device I suggest an AV receiver that had Airplay and HDMI v2.0 on it. I like the Pioneer VSX-1124.
