Today is Black Friday and Circuit City has a Western Digital 1TB drive for $199.

I'm comtemplating buying that drive. It's $350 regularly, $100 savings and $50 mail-in rebate. So you'd be paying $250 out of pocket... still not a bad idea. It would be perfect to hook up to my Airport Extreme! :)

Yeah... if AirDisk worked, lol.

The Lacie "Big Disk Extreme" 1TB triple interface (FW400/800/USB2) is my DREAM drive. Mmmm...

Check it out here.

I have 2 Lacie drives. One 160GB "Brick", and another 500GB "Porsche".

I intended to buy the triple interface 1TB drive, but when I saw the 500GB one on sale for something like $170, I couldn't turn it down.

Anyway, there's my $0.02.

PS: Stick with FireWire. It's so much faster than USB2.0, and less processor-intensive.
