Recommend an iPad Recording Dock

Anyone using an iPad recording dock? How do you like it? Would you recommend that or a separate (from docking) audio interface?

I'm frustrated with the single Lightning port and want connectivity options. Thanks!

Focusrite's one seems like a great option. Works with Mini as well.
