Recommendation for buying a router?

I need some recommendation on buying a router besides the apple kind. Not too expensive and something that is easy to setup and works well for a long time *meaning it doesn't break down after a week or so* and also it can connect both the g and n network 🙂.

AirPort Express, go for a refurbed one to save some cost.

I have a netgear router, and it has worked fine for me, except I can't get Universal plug-n-play to work, but that doesn't bother many people.
