Looking to upgrade 6 and 3 year old computers.
I require tools that only use Windows, but very tired of windows.

Thinking about either a mac pro, or an imac.
I have a dual xeon server that we run quickbooks enterprise on windows xp. I was thinking of using parallels, but not 100% sure if it will work on.

SSD will be required on all the computers.

I could go with a windows computer...but I want to be a mac

I am a CPA and have Windows 7 Pro running via VMWare on both my iMac and MacBook Air. QuickBooks and my tax prep software both run flawlessly using this setup. In fact, they are running better than they did on my Dell QuadCore that I used up until November of last year.

It's definitely doable, and in my opinion, well worth the extra money spent!

Tax Slayer professional is software that is used for mos of the other returns. good to hear the iMac is a great fit. I'm hoping the new iMacs are out after the season.
