I recently got a 2nd 2011 Macbook Pro and I'd like to add a SSD. Not looking to spend too much as I may end up selling the laptop in the near future. It doesn't have to be too big in storage.

What size SSD would you like?

The SanDisk SSD Plus is a pretty inexpensive option that still offers the 120 GB size

Kingston still has some SSDnow models in the 120GB size for very cheap as well, as does Silicon Power

However, for several dollars more, this a dramatically superior product that uses better flash (MLC) than the budget models

Yes. It is worth noting that it is much slower than other SSDs one tier up, but it has developed a reputation as an affordable & reliable drive that still gives much better performance than consumer grade HDDs.

I've sometimes seen 64 GB SSDs for under $30, if that small of a size would work.
