The App Store has a free apps category ranked by most popular

You don’t need antivirus with iOS, use safari and you don’t need to worry about apps from the App Store that all have been verified by Apple.

It’s Androids that need antivirus protection with those unsupported apps from the play store.

Agree, no need for the antivirus. About ad-blockers, any free app from the AppStore will work. Also you can try AdGuard, but don't think it will be much better than free solutions.

I haven’t had antivirus since my Samsung S5 but I do recall it slowing down my phone while running in the background always checking everything.

Curious if there is any validity if antivirus apps slowdown phones performance?

I should add, Safari works great but without an ad blocker add in WILL allow you to be flooded on webpages, I use Crystal as it’s worked great and has been updated along the way. It is a paid add on if I remember but cheap.

thank you all as you can tell new to iphone but old imac and mbp guy...no mouse cursor etc and it is driving me nuts.hahhah and no finder thanks
