Looking for something slim yet protective. Being able to go portrait and landscape is a plus but not necessary. Any suggestions?

Do you keep in mind any material for the case? What is your budget?

Really no budget. Don't see spending a lot though like over 100. Any material is ok. I really don't like folios though.

I think that you have reasonable budget and will be able to find the one. And it seems that is better to start research in the local shops - just in order to understand how everything is look like.

Aaron from Mobile Reviews Eh just reviewed the Scooch Clipstic Pro & gave it a pretty good score. Not super slim, but not huge and has a good drop-rating. Can be used in portrait or landscape.

What about the Zerochroma VarioProtect? I reviewed it about a year ago and liked it. It has both a portrait and landscape stand (and comes in colors other than pink):

It runs $29.95 and it looks like Zerochroma will give you a 15% off coupon if you sign up for their newsletter...

That's not bad. Is it protective?
I don't believe they advertise it as having drop protection. Other than the very nice kickstand, it is a pretty ordinary TPU case, so it should be little protective, but probably not that much...

I dropped my 6s+ in this Zerochroma Varioprotect case the other day from waist high to wood floor and it protected very well. This doesn't add any bulk and goes great with glass screen protector.

Great to know! So happy your phone survived the drop!

I have heard the Moshi Kameleon is very good for this. Moderate protection with a strong kick stand.

I love Spigen, but their kick stands are awful
