there seems to be various models and makers with accompanied pricing vareations?? thank you for your help
 
I am using Caldigit TS3 and TS3 light on MacBook Pro 2016, Mac Pro 2013 and MacStudio without problems since many years. Which one to get, depends on the ports needed.
