Why are so many people butt hurt that Samsung is doing good? Even after one of the most disastrous phone launches in gadget history they still managed to kick butt and take names. Demand for the Note line is so high their still keeping the name Note 8 for their next flagship phablet.
I have a iPhone 7 Plus but I welcome the competition in 2017. If Apple releases another "S" model I'm jumping the Apple ship. I can already guarantee that Note 8 will be phone of the year by many in the industry and the biggest seller that Samsung ever had. With the S8 and Note 8 Samsung will be unstoppable unless the competition can fight back. This is what competition is all about!!!

Honestly if I wasn't so entrenched with Apple products now when I got my iPhone 7 I would of considered a Samsung Galaxy S7 or perhaps wait for the 8. I have a Macbook Pro, Apple TV and an Apple Watch SS series 2 which I bought in November. I have a Samsung Galaxy tab s2 and love it*. The S7 looks nice and I have always loved AMOLED screens which is my I considered the S7. I find the iPhone 7 to be to small for me and the plus is way to big with its bezels for me to consider it. The S7 is a nice mix between both of them size wise.

Serious question(s). Can you provide evidence on why Samsung is corrupted? Are other companies less corrupt than Samsung or are you fear mongering?

given this is a public forum and not a private chat I replied to your comment, with extensive arguments that I hope you enjoyed.

Thank you for the clarification and I did read them. Again, your not Triton. I appreciate your response and a public forum is duly noted. But at the time, you had no way of speaking for him, because you can't contemplate what his thoughts or ideas were specifically from his post given the details I was seeking without his clarification, because You're . Not. Triton. I'm not asking to much for you to understand my reasoning and this argument is exhausted . Moving on. Thanks.

Guys you both strike me as genuinely intelligent and interesting people, which is what can make forums like this vibrant places to stimulate debate. We share opposing views and as we all know that's fine. All the best. T

Careful Relentless Power, you're using logic and intellect with djcerla; it's a tough hill to climb.

During Samsung's conference call, the company offered a preview of its mobile business plans for the year. As expected, Samsung said its next round of smartphones would include voice-activated artificial intelligence features - leaks suggest the Siri-like feature will be called "Bixby".

These Bixby Features On Galaxy S8 Will Give Siri A Run For Its Money

The South Korean firm also said it would be releasing a phone with a "differentiated design", leading some to speculate that a rumored foldable handset is almost ready for market.

My money is ready :D

The results appeared unaffected by the scandal surrounding Samsung president Park Geun-hye, who is under investigation over alleged bribes paid to an associate to win support for a merger of affiliates in 2015.

Yeah, supposedly he paid a friend to talk to his friends in power, to try to talk them into approving the merging of a Samsung subsidiary into Samsung's parent holding company. That's like merging Google back into Alphabet. If true, not smart, but ranks about a one out of ten on the worldwide scandal scale.

The key there is if there is a conflict between state and federal law, federal law supercedes state law with the US Supreme Court having the final say.

Not if the federal government doesn't have right to have a say. For example, a federal ban on raw milk would be thrown out. They have to prove that they aren't violating states rights before a federal law could be upheld. Unless specified states reserve the rights to govern as they see fit. When the feds pass a law that conflicts with a state it usually ends up in court.
