Record iPad Video Display on Mac or PC

Is there currently anything out there now that will capture the iPads video besides holding a camera infront of the screen?

I am looking for a program that will run on a Mac or PC that the iPad is plugged into and capture whatever is being displayed on the screen.

Hmmmm

I know it is possible. Several art apps record all of your brush strokes and can play them back so it seems that it has this capability. But I do not know of an app that can do it.

There is a jailbroken app on Cydia for this.. not sure of the name though
