    Hello everybody,
I would like to record/download screen/movies from SlingBox to iMac.
Does anyone have an idea how to do that ? I'm not asking for a screen capture.
    Any app or hardware ?
In Windows I see an app but what about MacOS ?
Also if you have better recommendations than the SlingBox, for watching TV on MacOS,
    please let me know.

    Thanks for any advice !!

Ethical and legal issues might not allow you to record things.

But supposing it's used legally and ethically, your mac has the generic possibility to record movies of what's shown on it's screen.
    • Start QuickTime Player
(use spotlight, or find it under /Applications)
    • File > New Screen Recording
    • Hit the red "Record" button
    • You will get a hint asking whether to capture the entire screen (click) or only a portion of the screen (drag)
    • Hit the stop in the menubar when done (leftmost of the icons on the top right of your screen)
For recording TV there's probably better suited tools.
