I seriously doubt it but you can do it with an EyeTV already, albeit not wirelessly.

So we need two devices....1 to record and 1 to play stuff.... very handy!

If this thing works as a dvd I'll probably get one. If not then I won't.

iTV doesn't have a built-in tv tuner so you can't record. Things may change when its released but I seriously doubt Apple will give you a way to record tv for free when they have tv shows are for sale on iTunes.

You can probably record with it. Hooking up a Mac or hooking up an external USB harddrive/iPod. Where do you guys think the USB port is for...
