Try it??
I have ran with Workoutdoors (using map screen only), Stryd and RunGo (for voice directions - but I don’t give it permission to write to Health) all at the same time with no problems.
I toggle between viewing WorkoutDoors map and Stryd by double tapping...and Rungo lives in the background telling me what to do at next junction.
I think that Apple's health system only allows one workout to be running at once, so if you start a second workout then it will kill off the workout session in the first app. This may not be a problem in some situations but you may find that the order of starting the workouts does make a difference.
However if your reason for running with Strava at the same time is to have the data in Strava then it is probably best to just export the data from WorkOutDoors to Strava after the workout. There will be an option to export automatically in the next version of the app.
I use WoD and after each workout, the data gets instantly exported to Strava and Apple Health, without me having to worry. There really is no need to use WoD and Strava at the same time. Stick with WoD.
WoD uses information from the AW. All you need to do, is add the Apple Watch (and Apple health should you want) to the list of devices Strava uses under settings > manage devices. Should you need to edit a run on Strava from the export, you can.Yeah fair point, I have tried it. Both seem to "record" but when I end the workout there seems to be nothing on Strava but only on WOD.
Thanks for the clarification and I thought this was the case! If you're the developer then let me say thanks for creating the app, it has really revolutionised my use of the watch (I only use it for fitness) and I love it!!
Cheers for the reply. How do I export it to Strava? I can't figure it out haha, thanks!
Haha wow. I cannot believe I missed this! Just tried it now it imports my workouts flawlessly!! Thanks a millionWoD uses information from the AW. The export to Strava should align (for the most part) with WoD, as well as AW, seeing as they both use the same data. Export data has been consistent for me.Haha wow. I cannot believe I missed this! Just tried it now it imports my workouts flawlessly!! Thanks a million
edit: it only shows workouts done with the default app, not WoD?

I haven't tried Strava's new integration with Apple Health yet, but you can export directly from WorkOutDoors by going to the Workouts tab, selecting the workout and tapping Export. The first time it will ask you to enter your Strava details but after that it should work fine. The next version of the app will allow automatic uploading to Strava.
