Recorders

Hello all,
So, classes have just commenced and i think I would like to get a voice recorder of some sort. My question is: Do I get a regular digital voice recorder, or do I get an attachment for my ipod like the italk? Any recommendations for either would be greatly appreciated. Also, how easy is it to download the files and listen to them on a computer from a regular digital voice recorder? Thanks guys! 🙂

The iPod is severely limited in its recording ability - prolly better off with a Sony or Olympus purpose-built unit. Check the manufacturer specs to see if it is compatible.
