Does anyone know how to send signals from another program, like RealBasic or matlab, that would start and stop the the isight from recording to the hard drive? I understand that imovie, QT pro and VLC all can record from isight to the HD. For a psychology study, I'm trying to record videos to play back later, but I only want them to record for a couple minutes here and there, depending on what is being displayed by another program. Participants in the study will see stimuli only for a couple of minutes here and there and we want to record their responses to them.
