Recording notes in classes

Hi Guys

I'm looking to rec some sound off my teacher in class. Which app would be better ? It's gotta be easy to store.

Do you have Word 2008? I believe that there's a sound recording feature in Notebook mode, and you could enter text notes alongside it.
