recording question on macbook pro 2011

I am sorry. I am positive this questions has been answered a million times. I have been googling how to record a video on my mbp. I have seen many people say to use isight. I can not find this anywhere. I am new to mac so any help would be great. Again, I know people get annoyed when the same question has been asked over and over. But I honestly tried to figure it out before I came here. Thanks

You can use the built-in iSight to record video. You can use the included Apple apps Photo Booth or QuickTime X.
