Recording Videos in Photo Booth on iPad

A coworker wants to record a video of her reading a book. She can do this in Photo Booth on Mac, but the iPad version doesn't seem to have this option. Am I missing something?

Yes. You don’t need photoboot to record herself reading a book. She just needs to open the camera, select video and start recording.

Maybe flip the camera to monitor the recording.

Duh, thanks. Busy at work so my mind isn't on this.

Okay, hopefully this isn't another "duh" thing: how do I get the camera app to NOT mirror when using the front camera. A coworker wants to take a video of her reading a book. But since everything's flipped, all the text looks backwards when recording. Obviously, this is messing her up.
