Recording Yourself on Imovie HD

Whenever I record myself with Imovie HD, I try to drag the new clip down to edit it like any other clip, but instead, the clip turns transparent and nothing happens...

Does anyone know how I can edit clips that I record using Imovie HD?

are u sure your dragging it into the corect spot??

in some cases when you drag a clip in it allows you to "blurscreen" kind of, maybe your doing that wrong?

I don't know what you are talking about. I've only recently used Imovie HD and I uploaded clips from my camera. Now, I am using the camera on the mac and when I try to do what I did with the camera clips, it doesn't work.
