Recover data without backup?

Hi I have an iphone 4 that I have made no backup for on itunes it it has just been restored to factory settings.

Is there anyway I can get the data back i.e the phones, messages etcc from there??

Would really appreciate the help.

Been reading some articles saying you can jailbreak and take a image or something and recover files some how is this not true?

Not after you restored. Everything is gone.
