    Hi All,
I Accidentally formatted my external drive, wiping out all partitions. One of the partitions was an encrypted time machine partition. While I was able to recover some of the files, there's no sign of files in the encrypted partition. I also tried recovering lost partitions, but that didn't show up either.
Also, I had an encrypted DMG image, that I was able to recover. But I cannot mount it, it says Image not recognised.
Can anyone suggest a good recovery software? Thanks.

P.S. I couldn't find a more relevant section to post in.

DiskWarrior is pretty popular, but I have no idea what it can do with the encrypted partitions. You might check with the developer before you spend the money for it.

Stellarphoenix for Mac is pretty powerful, you could try that.
