recovered photo message in iphoto after installing snow leopard

Have just recently moved to MAC, after installing snow leopard and synchronising my iphone I now receive a message that "3 photos have been found in the iPhoto Library that were not imported." I am asked weather I would like to recover the photos but no matter what I do (yes or no) iphoto creates a recovered photos folder which is empty. I get this message twice every time I start iphoto and it seems, there is nothing I can do to stop this.

Any advice?
