Hello fellow apple users, lol

Recently I tried replacing the screen on my ipad2 and damaged the connection to the between the logic board and the glass screen digitizer. All the other buttons and function work on the ipad except for the touch screen. Is there a way to recover the information off the logic without using the screen connection? Meaning by plugging it up to a computer to recover the info without having to touch the screen of the ipad

IOS devices automatically can back themselves up to iTunes on your computer or to iCloud, if you have enabled one of these options. Usually you don't have to touch the screen to start the backup process. You can still try to connect the device to iTunes, if it shows up in the sidebar, right click and select back-up. Best of luck!
