I had a hard drive failure, naturally without everything having previously been backed up. I have managed to use a universal drive adapter to locate most of what I thought I'd lost.

However, I have a website, which I put together using iWeb. When I now open iWeb, the various materials and pages are no longer to be seen. Naturally, I want to be able to edit website, but can't find any of the files. So two questions:

1. What is the extension or where is the location where files/pages created with iWeb would be stored?

2. Failing those being findable, is there any way to go backwards and download pages to my computer from my website, so that they are editable (without having to just start over from scratch?

You can view the website at www.rapport-consensus.com

iWeb stores its library here: ~/Library/Application Support/iWeb

If you cannot retrieve that file which is in your user/library folder then there's nothing you can do, short of rebuilding it.
