Recovery Help Please!

I'm trying to recover/restore my iPhone 3G 4.1 Firmware. Whenever I'm restoring it, I'm putting it to DFU mode and connecting it to my computer, but everytime the Connect to iTunes screen disappears halfway into the download and it won't restore afterwards and I end up redownloading the iOS. Can anyone please help me 😡

Look for Recboot or Tinyumbrella. They will kick your iPhone out of the recovery loop.

And if you tried upgrading to 4.2.1, it's a known issue. Do a quick search and there will be a few things you can try. Rebooting my iMac and then attempting to restore my iPhone 4 finally worked.

what do you mean its "in a recovery loop"? What do I do after I download any of those programs?

Your iPhone will constantly reboot over and over until it gets restored.
