Recovery partition kernel panic - how to replace

I have a 2.5GHz i5 mini at the office. The machine runs fine but the recovery partition will kernel panic if I attempt to boot to it.

Anyone know an easy way to force-reinstall the recovery partition?

Carbon Copy Cloner can create Recovery Partitions if you have a good source (a working recovery partition on another drive or the installer for ML on disk). Not sure if it can remove or not.
