Is the Apple recycling program worth it?

I know it would be hard to be 3 weeks without a computer. They quoted me a $320 gift card for my 15" MBP 1.83 GHz, including the new power adapter I just got for it. The computer works great. I'm thinking about using the gift card to buy a new MB, just not sure if this is the best way to get rid of my old one. Experiences from anyone who has used that program would be great!

What are the full specs of that mac?

What are the full specs of that mac?

It has snow leopard. It's an Intel Core Duo, 2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM. All that is just from "about this Mac." It's in like new shape. I don't remember what year I bought it though...

The only reason i'm asking is because I saw one close to your specs selling for 600-700 bucks. check them out on ebay. Did you already turn it in?

Wow!! That's a huge difference. Thanks for Letting me know. I haven't turned it in yet because I wasn't sure about the program. I'll look at eBay as a possibility.

I think that program is designed for broken Macs. Sell it on eBay, you'll get a better deal😀
