Not sure what to make of this. Looks like a high quality mock up, why would anyone go to the trouble to fake it?

But red? Haven't heard this one before. And the bezels/notch are white when all rumors say black. Thoughts? Looks great though and while I though I'd prefer a black front this Burgundy and white option looks pretty darned amazing.

Two things:

Firstly, for Apple, the colour Red has always been designated as a "Product Red" special edition i.e parts of the proceeds of the sale are donated to charity. Apple will not introduce a red iPhone at the very start. In fact, given that they only released the red iPhone a few months ago, we will most likely not see one for the iPhone 8.

Secondly, it has been widely established that the iPhone 8 will have a black bezel.

Your title is misleading. The article and the video are about the iPhone 8, yet your title mentions the iPhone X. These are two different products.

Try watching the video. As far as I know it's generally assumed that the old 7 body style phone js the iPhone 8 and the new bezelless notch phone is the X. Video shows (fake or not) the new design.

People seriously have too much time on their hands then. I mean what's the point? Make a fake mockup with a video two days before the announcement and just sit around and laugh at reactions?

A lot of those superficial or fake mock ups that we see surface regularly online, are used just to show an outer shell of what it will look like and for case manufacturers.
