J jon08 macrumors 68000 Oct 18, 2009 #3 It means that your sound card driver doesn't work. What you need to do is install the latest RealTek driver and it will work fine again. Pop in your Leopard/SL disc and go to Explore (cd). Then you can manually install the driver.
