hello,

i got a red light left to the speaker
. I know its the proximity sensor, and it has infrared lights, but i never recornized it till yesterday.it has to be new, because its really obviously.
its even possible to see it on daylight. an always running ,instant red glowing point on my iphone 5s. someone with the same problem?
already set it up as new

There is a sensor behind the glass. You can see it when the light hits the phone at certain angles

Its noticeable, he'll be fine.
I've never seen it with the naked eye, even in the dark, and I'd argue that most people haven't either. I'm not saying there's necessarily something wrong there simply based on what was mentioned, but I do believe it's not something common/typical.

I agree, its normal but not in my case
its really bright, i compared it to my friends iphones and some of them just dont have it or less bright.
But the sensor on my iPhone is incredible bright and always ON!
I'm pretty sure I have not overlooked. That was not there before, not so bright
I wish i could show you my RED DOT ;)

I literally have the same thing going on lol . I was looking at my phone one night and saw it , I was like What??? Lol I'm only 14 so I asked my mom what she thought it was and of course she didn't know . I'm usually the one in the family that knows most about technology . But I'm stumped on this one....
