So, after I had run around the house with my iBook G4, i plugged it back in and got it out of sleep mode, the screen suddenly got a red/pinkish glow. Not really fun to look at. Anyone who had the same thing happen once or knows a solution?

here's a screenshot

Screenshot is fine you wont be able to screencap the red as its the lcd itself.

I did see a thread simialir to yours yesterday and it was peoples assumption that a connector has worked its way loose.

you really shouldn't be running around the house with your computer

technology is rediculously fragile nowadays

I don't know about notebooks, or even computers with built in lcds for that matter, but I know if the cable connecting the monitor to the CPU gets knocked slightly out the screen gets a red/yellow/green tint depending on how its knocked. Is it possible you knocked the ibook hard enough to slightly dislodge the lcd connector? And why were you running around with it anyway?

id say its definately the connectors. My older CRT monitor once got a blue tint because the connnectors got bumped. is your 'book under warranty?
