Just bough an Macbook air 13 inches 128SSD I5 yesterday and I am pleased with it.

I downloaded every update possible and even downloaded the free Ilife from the Appstore.

Now i went to my iMac 2010 and checked the app stop and in purchased tab, i do not have ilife.

Does that mean that the ilife is good for my Air only?

Thanks

Sorry to bump but I have to say that finally it's false

So I bought the macbook air 13 yesterday and updated it with Ilife 2011.

This afternoon I went to my iMac and then went into purchased that and it says Install

I though that i would pay but if i go look at example pages it says 19.00 while Ilife is Install

SO i call 1800-my-apple to make sure and they confirmed that I can download it on my iMac and don't pay since it's on the same apple ID

yay 🙂

That's definitely a change from the past then - but then the App Store is a new delivery method, and every other Mac comes with a restore disc. Good to hear though 🙂
