Redownloading a software update

My internet cut out half way through downloading a software update and it appears to be corrupt. How do I redownload the update from scratch, or delete the half downloaded file to force it to start again?

If you reopen the software updater you should be able to redownload everything that was interrupted.

I get this error even though I downloaded other updates fine and my internet connection is fine.

I managed to sort out the problem by making another Administrator account and doing it from there. However, I am yet to find out whether my current account can install future updates or not.
