So, I have my IP4 on 5.0 and have been using redsnow to JB for the last few months. I'm very familiar with JBing as I've been doing it for years, but try to stay away from tethered when possible. Anyway, I'm traveling and brought along my PC labtop to boot in case I had to restart. Seems to me on this JB, after about 4-5 days, apps are very touchy and crash often, and this is remedied by a reboot of the phone. However, now that I'm on the road in an airport, I restarted the phone and opened redsnow (0.9.9b8) and it wouldn't boot, it stalled on the verifying ISPW step. I had to purchase wifi in the airport (which I hate doing) to get me back up and running. About 4 days ago I was able to boot tethered in my hotel without any wifi or internet connection. Why did it fail on this step now and force me to connect to internet? Is there anyway I can protect mysefl from having to do this again. Thanks in advance.
