has anyone turned reduce motion back on after he 10.1 upgrade? I have always kept it on but had to turn it off to support message effects. I'm torn now that I can have it on. I kind of got used to it

Turn it off man. Reduce motion is supposed to help address motion sickness that some users were experiencing with the system but people learned it helped performance on an older device and used it for that reason instead.
 
Are we supposed to tell you what you like? If you like the effects, then keep them enabled.

No...just asking what other people did. So what is the point of these forums? Seems to be full of OCD consumers that obsess over every defect and those that choose to criticize everyone else's post.

If you like what you had, then keep what you had. If not, then change it. I'm keeping what I had as that's basically what I like.
 
Only new thing to consider really (in iOS 10) is that Reduce Motion's app open/close animations are slower than with it off.

Really? Not being a smart ass but can you elaborate on this? I've always loved reduce motion to speed up animations. Not slow them down. Thanks for you input.

In iOS 10 the regular app open/close animations were sped up, but they left the Reduce Motion ones at the old speed.
